Continued comparative evaluation of digital cameras.

FLAAR currently has the Leaf Valeo 22; we now have five months experience and continue to be impressed. FLAAR currently has the Kodak ProBack Plus on a Hasselblad to test medium format digital backs.

We have two BetterLight scan backs for testing the high end of large format digital imaging. At Photokina '02 it was possible to visit inside the Foveon booth to have an informative briefing far from the crowds of German photo enthusiasts. The test results we witnessed demonstrated the painful truth: you will get a better photo with a Sigma SD9 than with virtually any other 35mm SLR such as the Nikon D-100, Nikon D1H Why?

We explain all the details in the comprehensive FLAAR training course on digital photography. You can download the syllabus and course abstracts at no cost. But we continued to compare the Sigma SD9 and the Nikon D100. In the meantime we are evaluating the Nikon D70 and the Canon Digital Rebel (as of November 2004). We also got our hands on the Kodak SLR/c. All the results go into Nicholas Hellmuth’s course on digital photography that can be easily delivered to you via On-Line Distance Learning (in other words, via the Internet).
